Oh I’m really looking forward to next episode of Star Trek Picard now. Episode 6 could be my favorite so far.
@matigo Yeah, I would prefer to spend 6 weeks in bliss, not constant fear of being infected by all manner of curious infections.
@matigo I thought the same "serious consequences" were the standard punishment for anything from jaywalking to failure to amuse the… err. What's his title again? I mean, his grandfather is the leader, his dad is the great general. What the heck is he called? 🤔
@matigo It's all dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. Sadly, we humans have not made education quite as effective as it ought to be by now.

@matigo I'm enjoying it for the most part. Was slow to get started, but now it feels like we're going somewhere. Not entirely sold on the storytelling methods they use, but it's not badly produced. Last few episodes have a cheaper feeling to them, using fewer different stages, but the acting I can't complain about.
Welcome sight of Jeri Ryan back as Seven, although her journey after coming back with Voyager could have served as a series in and of itself.
It's not The Next Generation, and I didn't expect it to be either. It's a different Trek, but at least if feels a lot more like Star Trek than Discovery does, in my mind at least.
