I'm looking forward to it. Time to setup a new VM and install from scratch. Been a few years since I did that, so it'll be fun to see what's changed. :)

Oh, and I still need to finish the standing desk design which I wasn't able to do yesterday. That'll be me and a ruler for a couple of minutes…

OK, time to close the MacBook Air for a while and go play with my son instead. The other 8 jobs I can apply for later on.

Totally need to get on with writing my own book, updating my current book, finishing my other book, check and see if there are any other interesting vacancies for remote work, build some better digital tools for myself, writing a few articles for my web site, finishing the reviews I have in the pipeline, and create an album and upload photos on Flickr.

Am I busy?

Some things you just can't do on the drawing board. You really need to build the darn thing to see if it actually works or not.

Maybe I should just build all the stuff in my projects folder and document the process. That should make for a reasonably interesting read for at least a few people, I suppose.

Thank you! As do I hope so. I've been pretty content with the jobs I've had since 2013, but the pay has been a fair bit lower than I wanted. Too bad I don't have any mad skillz to enable to me to get a better pay. :/

I'm turning into the one-man welcoming committee around this place.

Awesomeness! Welcome to the most awesome place since ADN! :D

I just realized it's Friday. I best put a beer in the fridge so it's cool and ready for tonight.

Mostly tech/customer support stuff which has become what I've mainly done for a living so far. One is a remote work position, which I would love to get.
