@height8 Indeed. The old 30-pin stuff really deserved to die. Whenever Apple decides to unleash USB 3.0 speeds on Lightning, I'll be one happy camper.

I have yet to gain a proper Android experience, as I don't call my Digiland DL700D a proper Android device. Sure, it runs Android 4.4.4 and it's a tablet, but that's pretty much it. On the other hand, at €30 as the asked price at the time, I'm not complaining. :D

Ouch! I don't think I've had quite as nasty of a delay as that, even with the Bluetooth keyboard I have. O_o

Stability-wise, iOS 9 has been a home run for me as well. I can't say I had any issues on either iOS 6, 7, or 8, but iOS 9 has really been rock steady so far.

Oddly enough (?) I've never gotten well along with the portrait mode keyboard on the iPad mini. Landscape, on the other hand, is absolutely brilliant. Well, except now in iOS 9, that is.

It used to keep me slowed down, but as time went on I started treating is just like a regular keyboard, and now it seems to be biting me in the proverbial butt.

I'm on a classic rock binge all of a sudden.

It might be that I'm typing faster than the iPad mini has time to recognize what I'm doing properly, and just makes some assumption, which of course it wrong. :/

@height8 Wow, that's amazingly crap. :(

The old 3GS is still going strong, and I suspect it's the old MacBook that's the issue here. When I synced some music over to it on the MacBook Air, it was much faster and practically painless.

Ørk! Now I remember how "fun" it is to transfer large amounts of data to an iPhone via USB…
