@jextxadore While ADN was rolling, it was in read only mode for me. Didn't miss it. Have a few people that I only have contact with via twitter, so that's kept the account alive.
@matigo Not getting my hopes up, but it has at least made me feel better. Every stinking update, they added more garbage to the official app, while giving no features I cared about. No reason to keep rolling with that.
At least now I can filter out all the real crud and keep reading what little remains. Not a conversation place, just a shouting hall.
And now, the official Twitter app is gone from my iPhone. Couldn't stand all the crap anymore. Now it's just tweetbot, as it should be. Heavy filtered and with a slimmed-down list instead of just absorbing everything.
Should hopefully make things more tolerable.
