Even though the pain of loss is strong, I still say it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. ?

I'm sure I'll never have a four legged friend like the one I have had in the past, but I'll keep my eyes open in case the universe wants to play kind at some point.

Nah, I've seen your reasoning and methods for a few years now, and it makes sense to me. You think long-term and build for reliability. I only wish all software has such thoughts behind it.

Picky is good. Which is why I love the real fans of anything to be the harshest critics.

Maybe I'm just a lot more tolerant or just plain don't notice things. ?

That's an awesome relationship to have. Hope I can find another little friend like that at some point in my life.

Indeed. I miss that from a dog we had in the family some twelve years ago. Very strange dog. Most human dog I've ever met. Could talk to her and she actually understood a lot of it. Never had that since.

It works pretty well already, but if you can make it EVEN better, I won't object.

Dat expression!

Nope, I love sleeping on tatami as well. My back appreciates it far more than conventional beds.

@kdfrawg Excellent point! "Normal" is a myth, and does not exist in reality.

I had hoped that normal people would have learned what happens when you put morons and idiots in positions of power, but one look at our world clearly shows that is not the case. Perhaps now some will learn? Not holding my breath, as stupid and easily misled people appear to be innuculated against acquiring new knowledge or learning from mistakes.
