@matigo Yes, exactly! Two features I really like, particularly from a security aspect.
It also seems like there's not too much work to make a Snap, if I interpret the docs right. Another great boon!

@der_jeff No worries! Only happy to get another one of us into the fold, so to speak. ?
@tomas Heavy Blade Runner feelings, specially in the rain. I have a particular weakness towards taking walks in the rain whenever I'm in Osaka.
@tomas That only makes it more impressive. Good thing you had the device with you, so we can all admire the beauty of nature. ??
@matigo My thoughts are in line with what you described, although i hadn't heard about Snaps until now. This I need to explore more!
A factor I keep coming back to is that a great deal of people are "too plugged into the matrix", they just don't care about their data. The small but growing movement of self-hosting is a welcome one, but I don't think it'll be as widespread as all the people using twitter, tumblr, farcebork, and what have you.
We can't save everyone, but we can at least build better tools for a lot of people.
Makes me want to start a company, nearly. Too bad I hate the bureaucracy that comes with it. ?
@tomas The words of William Gibson resonate stronger than ever before;
"The future is already here – it's just not evenly distributed."
