Yes, exactly! Two features I really like, particularly from a security aspect.

It also seems like there's not too much work to make a Snap, if I interpret the docs right. Another great boon!

Now I want everything available via Snaps!

@der_jeff No worries! Only happy to get another one of us into the fold, so to speak. ?

Heavy Blade Runner feelings, specially in the rain. I have a particular weakness towards taking walks in the rain whenever I'm in Osaka.

That only makes it more impressive. Good thing you had the device with you, so we can all admire the beauty of nature. ??

@der_jeff Of course!

My thoughts are in line with what you described, although i hadn't heard about Snaps until now. This I need to explore more!

A factor I keep coming back to is that a great deal of people are "too plugged into the matrix", they just don't care about their data. The small but growing movement of self-hosting is a welcome one, but I don't think it'll be as widespread as all the people using twitter, tumblr, farcebork, and what have you.

We can't save everyone, but we can at least build better tools for a lot of people.

Makes me want to start a company, nearly. Too bad I hate the bureaucracy that comes with it. ?

Stunning!

The words of William Gibson resonate stronger than ever before;
"The future is already here – it's just not evenly distributed."

Welcome to my broken and random mind. ?
