The only Apple-focused podcast I regularly listen to anymore is the Mac & Forth show, but that's because I know the people behind it and I've been on the show a couple of times.

Well that and the fact that they make more sense than all the other shows combined.

I could just make a snarky comment about how it would be"smart", connect to your phone, send you notifications, and be called the iWater, but I'll just leave it…

Damn these machine translations to heck!

"Controller input OK. (Without any good or button fart of)"

Don't we all?

Hope there is some at home, or I'll have to support the chocolate industry by hitting a shop.

Do you get good commissions?

Well, shit. Now I crave chocolate.

I'm available as an external consultant, if the company is interested. ?

First report on Space: 1999

VERY seventies sci-fi, complete with stereotypical guitar intro and disco backing, bell-bottom pants on the uniforms, and a look that fits between Star Trek and Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Actually, the uniforms do remind a lot about the uniforms in Star Trek: The Motion Picture.

Writing is a bit weak here and there, and the reactions to fairly major events, possibly traumatizing events, are equally weak. Hard to tell if it's the direction or the writing that's to blame, but it's a bit off all the same. Good explosions and models, as well as settings.

Gravity is depicted pretty well, given that most of the action takes place on the moon, but other sci-fi is questionable most of the time. The actors make a very good job despite the shortcomings of the writing, for the most part.

Three episodes in, and I'm digging it for what it is.

Utterly impressive, in both cases!
