And when I read the article, I get the sneaky feeling that the term “AI” just means a script that trawls the content looking for matches to a list of “naughty words and phrases”, and deletes them. Why must they overuse the term AI for things that are not?
Mission successful! Case modified, fan installed. With everything bolted down, it hovers around 50°C with full load. Pretty much exactly what I wanted and hoped for.
@matigo It’s what I say about all the BMW, Mercedes, and big SUV owners around here at least. I can honestly remember exactly 1 BMW that showed properly before turning in the last 3 months.
Horrifying? I’m just used to it and fully expect it nowadays.
It’s best described as a MacGyver’d machine, or perhaps a kludge, but it does work. At least until tomorrow when I’ll get a hole drilled in the case and properly mount the fan.
