@sumudu Hm. As long as you have a floppy drive, preferably a USB connected one, most systems should read the older formats.
How old floppies are we talking about, and what system were they used on? :)

@gtwilson Indeed. I am, however, somewhat concerned about one part of that article. It strikes me like if the clock frequency would be the one feature that is important or most impressive about the architecture, but at least they also mention the low power usage. All I want is for the tech “journalists” to keep focus where it’s supposed to be.
Higher clock frequency doesn’t necessarily mean it works faster, after all.
@matigo I keep telling them that, but my words fall on deaf ears. At this point I’m out of fucks to give. Glad I have all of December off, and maybe I can have some brand new fucks to give next year.
@matigo That’s ok. I’ve been living with a situation like that at work for years.
@matigo Compared to that you inevitably find down the rabbit hole, that’s a very sound and sane standpoint.
Made the classic mistake of reading further down in the forum threads on a car enthusiast forum. Boy howdy do a lot of people have a master's degree in an extremely narrow field, and will fight to the death over their opinion. 😑
