Welcome to the party!

Streakmachine Labs Announcement

We are please today to introduce the future of authentication for secure, reliable, and hardened internet communication on both desktop and mobile. The technology that we have named StreakAuth consists of three simple steps, all very easy to implement.

First a connection is established over sub-ethanet in a secure tunnel using state-of-the-art StreakCrypt 2048 with mustard cipher. Following this a special packet with the credentials is sent in order to tell the auth service what to do next. Finally the response "nope, ain't gonna happen!" Is returned and the connection is securely dismantled.

There is currently no known risks to this system or implementation, and Streakmachine Labs will publish a whitepaper shortly.

Sucking down my first mug of coffee here.

Is this by chance related to that rather special post over on Twitter? The one about virulent sexists now running ADN? ?

I just plain unlike any USB device not ejecting. Usually at times when you can't mess with it too.

@height8 I'm not sure we can get Dr. Noonian Soong to come work on this for us. :(

I think you are right. Clearly people are happy to stay with Twitter and Facebook no matter what either service gets up to. The bigger mass of people out there don't know and don't care, only die-hards like us do.

Oh well, it's nice to sit in a smaller sandbox sometimes. Better quality sand for one. :D

It might lead to that, yes. A difficult balancing act at best. Given what happened with ADN, though, it appears to me like the beginning of the end was the introduction of the free tier, limited as it might have been.

Invite only is a good model for social networks, in my opinion.

Difficult at best. ?
