Those who hate the most are the ones who have never actually had or used the product (whatever it is).

Those who complain the most are the ones who use it the most.

The latter I understand perfectly, but uninformed nincompoopery irks me. Even though it shouldn’t.

A very nice piece of software. Remember using it on my iBook G4, back in the day.

Very true. I just live on the stupid edge and upgrade wildly. ?

Needs more flärp!

Things I got even more sick of in 2017:

  • Putting "gate" on the end of something to make it seem more sensationalistic
  • Anything and everything about Donald Trump
  • Tech and video gaming "journalism"
  • Being the product for companies

@kdfrawg I nearly want to get one of the last generation Powerbook G4 and run Leopard. Pretty solid, if outdated in many ways.

Still, I haven’t had issues since I jumped onto El Capitan. Maybe I’m just lucky or something.

@kdfrawg I’m naturally cautious. Usually one or two point releases into a new version and I’m ok with getting onboard.

@kdfrawg I’m looking at the Dell D3100, which can apparently drive 4K screens. That would mean I’m at least a bit future proof.

Sounds like I better make a proper backup before I take the plunge.

@kdfrawg Three our of four, yep. But I think I will start with only two and see when I have need for more. I still need to get a better or more DisplayLink units to drive all the monitors.
