@matigo I have toyed with that idea too. Doesn’t seem too complicated, and any machine can deal with email.
I guess I just don’t want more hassle, since email is a weird area nowadays. Trusted machines and trusted ip addresses and stuff.

@paulgit I’m leaning a bit towards that too. I have no idea where I might end up in the future, and I’d like to be able to get to my mail.

Since I declared this year to be the year of self hosting my stuff (again), or at the very least stop being the product sold;
Does anyone have experience with using their own domain and FastMail or ProtonMail? Any experiences with either that I could consider?
@matigo Once again, complexity rears its ugly face, and we must all pay the price. Well, sort of, unless you use another platform completely.
