@variablepulserate Yeah, I'm utterly impressed by the previous owner. Charger looks like the dog has buried it at some point, but that's pretty much it in terms of ugly or worse shape.
@tewha An excellent point. No idea either. I've fallen away from the PPC world, which is why I decided to get the PowerBook, so now it's time to explore the world of the past Apple laptops once again. :D

@variablepulserate Close to immaculate, from what I can tell so far. I'm honestly surprised by the overall condition of this little machine. Keyboard feels absolutely wonderful, and it's like the trackpad button has never been used.
@matigo I remember that the man behind TenFourFox did some testing for Spectre on various different PPC machines, and some were close to immune, oddly enough. While others were instead the exact opposite. O_o
At any rate, I've just travelled some 13 years back in time, and it's quite the interesting experience. Like how there is no built-in "downloads" folder, and that there is no support for WiFi beyond WEP unless you update to a newer version of 10.4, which I had completely forgotten about.
PowerBook G4 12" has arrived, just unpacked it. Looks good, feels even better, got the new battery in there, currently charging. 10.4 Tiger sure makes the old nostalgia kick in.
@matigo Never seen much of that guy. Might have been on some documentary. The other two I’m much more familiar with, specially in comparison.
