I always try to max out RAM, no matter how much it happens to be. When I finally get a hold of a Mac Pro, I’ll max that out too. Even if that means 128GiB of RAM!

Talk about nothing; I won a Mac mini on online auction yesterday. An old mid 2007 model, which is right up my alley.
There we go! Got good old cappuccino on the home screen while waiting for macchiato to get a new beta release. ?
And since my work computer is now running Windows 10 at long last, I might as well make an effort and get it installed on my MacBook Air at home too. So I can finally learn how to survive with the darn thing…
@matigo I know the one I forced into my MacBook Air is pretty snappy and nice so far. ?
I’ll try to obtain a large SSD and install into this old beast during the year.
@peemee I’m really liking mine. Had a pile of luck since it has the 1900x1200 display. Totally need to bump up the RAM to 6GiB and install an SSD!
@matigo I’d just be glad if they could stop spilling their toys all over the living room without actually pinging them up at some point. My feet are getting tired of frequently stepping on mostly hidden stuff.
Actually pretty impressed with now snappy this old beast feels with El Capitan. An SSD would make a world of a difference though.
