@matigo My boss has very recently resigned, and I'm kind of, sort of, maybe interested in applying for the job. Problem is, I'll be exposed to so much middle management BS that I'll probably beg for my old job back in no-time.
@matigo I know the kind of manager, sadly. Have a small boatload of them at work, much to the annoyance of everyone, specially when working the night shift.

@matigo A very good point! If I had more programming chops, I’d probably be running either a completely custom system, like visopsys, or a heavily modified BSD of some kind.
Alas, I am not that sharp of a programmer. Or rather; not yet. I’ll try to do more scripting and automating this year. Perhaps I’ll actually learn some pyrhon.

@variablepulserate Right you are! Fortunately, I got the mid 2007 model, so it’s a C2D machine. Not sure how far I will upgrade OS X, since I’m a huge fan of Snow Leopard.
