No chance, I’m afraid. It’s eaten through the metal long before I bought her. I’ll have to cut out the rusted part and replace it with fresh metal. Finding a replacement fender will be difficult at best due to the rarity of my model of Carina. Not many of them left and even fewer in dark blue.

Oh well, all the more reason to buy a house with garage soon.

Indeed. I intend to give my cars some well needed love and attention when I’m back home again. Rust is attacking one of the front fenders on my old Carina. 😕

I fear that optimization is dead, and all companies push for quick build and deployment, solve any and all problems when in production. Basically all that is wrong with our species condenses into a way of working.
