@jussipekonen Oh sweet! I’ve actually been eyeing a Prius+ as a family car as well. Seems like a reasonable upgrade, although I will certainly miss the Avensis once that day comes.

@matigo Not overly likely. While we purchase electricity at times during the cold part of the year, for the bright half of the year the existing power plants should supply sufficient amounts to keep the country as a whole from needing external power.
I also had the foresight to order a fixed price during the winter months, and as soon as the KW/h prices go down, I’ll make a long-term contract on that price.
But you never know. Perhaps I better build an alternative during the next couple of months.
Ah yes, AI. The catch-all phrase to encompass anything that could be done with a small script, statistical analysis, or even machine learning. Sure. Let’s go with that…

I don’t mind the concept, particularly not in this case as it just appears to be a reasonable statistical analysis based on some pretty sensible factors. I do take issue with the “AI” label.
@matigo I still wonder why email is such a misunderstood concept after we have had it for 50 years, and at least 25 years in daily life for most people.
