Alright, bashtop looks spiffy, but not for the low-power Raspberry Pi I have currently in the network. On the newer 3B it ought to be quite nice though.

Yep, that's about it, just like you say. My plan is to get my arse into gear and install WireGuard on a Raspberry Pi, and tunnel home from wherever I might happen to be at the time.

Bonus is that I also get to access all the devices on my network from anywhere on planet earth.

One of the summer temps showed me an interesting bug/feature earlier in the week. If you grab the Skype chat window and shake it a bit, all other windows currently open minimize. Blew my mind a bit when I saw it happen. Like, why? Who thought that was a good idea?
