I drove home in some pretty heavy rain this morning. Was soothing in a weird kind of going 110km/h kind of way.

I am kind of picky on a few key areas. A reasonable size garden is one, and sufficient natural light inlet is another. Don’t get how people can ignore at least the latter.

So basically nutjobs?

Sounds like human stupidity to me.

I think the appropriate term was “tried”, but actually and truly using it would be a stretch. Since the concept was so different to how muggles/normies/morons are used to transferring small bits of text back and forth, it never caught on outside of the tech-enthusiast sphere. There were some nifty things there, as I recall. But it was more of an AJAX power trip than a truly revolutionary tool for the masses. Certainly no replacement for email, specially since it was Google exclusive, and not functional on all platforms, you know, unlike email.

Cool, but not useful. Etherpad is far more usable and easier for most people to “get”. Does the job that Wave never could, if you ask me.

GOOGLE WAVE, man! What a ride!

Wow. That’s still what I call a good day though, since we usually get a veritable torrent of horrifying events blasted into our homes and workplaces.

It is Dire Straits, after all. 😉

I completely agree with you. The cascade-loading of scripts is what really makes the whole place a titanic piece of crap nowadays, not even talking about the mediocre thought processes behind many a web design.
