Contemplating the Osaka Marathon 2021. Should be enough time for me to get into shape. Been a long time since I ran a race and never have I done a full marathon before.
@matigo Been playing with it a fair bit so far, so battery life is suffering. I’ll give it a couple of days before I can say for sure.
Looks surprisingly good so far though.

@phoneboy Ditto! So far it strikes me as a solid companion for measuring my health.
This might lead to me buying a newer model somewhere down the line.
@matigo Only good old pulse measuring. Old original model Apple Watch, so not even an updated OS. But it’ll be a better activity bracelet for me, with better notifications than the MiBand 4.

So yeah, I got a used Apple Watch. Slippery slope getting an ac to city bracelet. I think @phoneboy can agree on that one? 😁

@matigo Exactly. I’m paraphrasing, as my memory isn’t what it used to be, but it was something along the lines of “…it has set Apple up for the next 20 years.”

@joeo10 Don’t see how they could shut it down, specially not then they have released multiple devices in the past with pretty much exactly the same concept. But then again, I’m not a legal expert.
Will be keeping my eyes on this, but with the price I expect this to hold and the recent advancements in the Game Boy community, I think I know where I’ll be staying for the foreseeable future.
Pretty nice design on Analogue’s side though. Like their engineering!
