Got one of those ideas again. This might actually be a good one. A really good one.
It's not that I wish to imply that my immediate family considers my time more worthless than theirs is, but I sure get called away from whatever I'm doing at any given time as soon as anyone pleases.
@jws This is horribly true. If I do manage to score a proper remote job again and the company is from abroad, I really need to talk to the tax people so I get that sorted properly.
Don't particularly want to mess up the taxes, as that can lead to rather unpleasant consequences. Or so I hear.
Saw remote work job ad, and found this little gem. Again.
"You’re located in North America"
Which part of "remote work" is difficult to grasp for some companies?
@matigo Exactly my attitude! I always keep a machine running for as long as possible, which is why I waited 9 years to get my current MacBook Air. ?
I'm actually looking at getting a better display for it, believe it or not. Something IPS and full HD. Have found a few LCD panels that appear to be compatible, but I need to research some more before I'm convinced.
Honestly, the WXGA resolution is fine, but I want to push on and make the last generation MacBook Air 11" something truly special and unique. At least my machine.
Since it's barely 2 years old, the battery is holing up very nicely still, but internal storage is where I would really want to improve things.
Exploring the possibility of upgrading my MacBook Air 11". Some things that most people would call insane are actually fairly realistic.
@peemee I have been thinking about that lately, as the gas prices have been going up. Would be practically free transportation to work, which is nice.

Yet again my "contact" called Don't Answer gets updated with a new phone number…
@matigo There's only so much parking space available, sadly. I'll try to clarify shortly.
