@kdfrawg I can see myself getting a lot of good use out a 3D-printer.

Probably too many.

@kdfrawg Agreed. First one should print a holder for some fans in order to get better cooling, and following that a holder for the filament, and last but not least; a better holder for one of the motors, which will all end up making the prints increase in quality.

@kdfrawg Indeed! Earlier I've been put off by the prices and the lackluster quality, but now they're finally approaching levels I can happily dish out money for.

The one I just learned about is some 200USD from what I can tell. It's not perfect, but get this; you can print some upgrades for it that make future prints even better.

All kinds of things, I'd say. I can currently bodge something together using available tools and materials, but with a "proper" 3D-printer, I could make something insanely better. Like a case for a Raspberry Pi with a particular use in mind, or a small machine of sorts.

Oh wow. A 3D-printer that's cheap and works well. Guess I know what I'm going to be saving up for.

My neighbors might be having a party. This I am not sure I like, given the day and time, as well as the fact that I plan to get up early for work tomorrow.

@lechindianer Ah, the Kong Feng GB Boy. Yes, it has been talked about a lot in the Game Boy community. Apparently a pretty decent unit given the backlit LCD. I have been tempted by it too, but since I have most models of the Game Boy, it's been hard for me to actually commit to a purchase. At least yet.

Ah yes, have installed that on my MacBook Air, but not had much time enjoying it just yet.

I suspect I will get more playtime with the portable Raspberry Pi machine I'm slowly working on.
