@kdfrawg I'm looking for a cheap/cheaper original iPad with 32gb or more storage. I have plans to use it as a pure and 100% writing machine here at home.

Since WriteWroom for iOS is, very sadly, discontinued, I need some older iOS and hardware to keep running it long forward. Also, I love the design, and I have the advantage of a completely quiet writing machine and a specialized keyboard dock. ?

@kdfrawg I'm getting a bit too used to them lately. ?

Yeah, it's been getting slower and slower as time has gone by, but hopefully a complete refresh with no restoring from backup should make it at least passable again.

Aye, that they do!

@kdfrawg I have been eyeing some nice hardware, but the cost and lack of more powerful computer, as well as a general lack of time and space keeps me away from it, much to my annoyance.

@kdfrawg Yes, lately it has been having issues updating apps and otherwise been far too slow to be of proper use.

I mean, sure, it's a gen 1 iPad mini, but it's still supposed to be faster than that.

@kdfrawg I just suffered a headache and 20 minutes wasted time due to such an incident.

Sounds like what I need right about now. ?

Can't wait to upgrade my gear so I can run Elite: Dangerous. There's a Mac version now, I observed.

Resetting the iPad and this time I'm leaving off anything that doesn't have to be there. Focused device, hopefully with less slowdowns.

I think I'll have to find a version of Elite I can leave running all the time. Maybe one of the ports in an emulator. Until I build my portable Elite machine, at least.
