I'm going to call my repurposing of my iPad a success. Now it's a dedicated learning, reading, and watching (streamed) video appliance.
@kdfrawg That's an incredible journey to have been there for. I missed those really formative years and only got in on the more recent stuff from about 1990 and forward.

@kdfrawg Envy, I haz it. So far I've only been working with Windows stuff in my professional life, except for one or two specialized telephony systems from the 1970s, but I never did particularly much in it.
@kdfrawg I miss having a fun car. I mean, sure, my Suzuki Alto is pretty fun, but there's no performance anywhere in that car. Has a killer fuel efficiency and excellent low cost though.
I'd love to swap it for a Toyota Sprinter Trueno from the 80s. But I can only dream about that given their current prices in the world. Not to mention that they're heavily sought after by car enthusiasts.

@kdfrawg I'm looking into BSD more and more, but at some point I'd like to try both the old original "real" UNIX by Bell labs. Not to mention Solaris and VMS too.
