Oh, right. Forgot how slow USB 2.0 can be.
Currently getting ready to install OS X 10.6 in a virtual machine, because I can.
@matigo Oddly enough, I haven't really had any problems with 10.6.8 either. In fact, 10.6 has been remarkably well behaved ever since I installed it for the first time.
@kdfrawg Me too, for the first time in a long while. I haven't had a problem keeping up with the latest and greatest, but Apple has made some funny moves that has made me think twice. :/
@kdfrawg Particularly when the changes aren't what I on a good day would describe as "improvements".
// @peemee
@kdfrawg Thanks! ?
Already applied for a couple of reasonably interesting positions. Anything should be more profitable than my current job.
@kdfrawg Not to mention more annoying and wastes more of my time, which I'm already short of at work. Oh well, I'll hopefully abandon ship soon anyway.
Weird having to think in these ways. Back when I got the iBook you could install point releases and not even need to fully reboot the machine. Well, at least for most of them.
That utterly blew my mind back in the day.
Can't say I miss the brushed metal look, but as I'm wont to do, I will wax lyrical about Snow Leopard until the proverbial cows come home.
