@kdfrawg I'm more of a tolerating Excel type of guy, and living (mostly) happily with Numbers otherwise. I did live on OpenOffice for a number of years, and that was the worse of both worlds, although to be fair, it worked.

@matigo It's a fair point. I do, on the other hand, have several Palm devices. ?
@matigo No no. Wish I did, in some ways, but I'm referring to what the rest of the world calls "smartphone". I just think that the phone part is long since the main focus, and the term smartphone is pretty wrong. A pocket computer, on the other hand, sounds more like it.
@matigo Aye, that they are. Which is why it's so nice to leave the laptop to do it and keep doing stuff on my tablet or pocket computer.
@matigo I'm feeling that too. Unlike me though, I don't think your son's fussiness can be cured with coffee or beer.
@kdfrawg Quite so. Keynote has been a big surprise for me so far. A bit fiddly to get to some of the options, but really well put together.
I should give Pages a spin too. Been loving it ever since they rebuilt it from scratch, unlike most people.
