@matigo Hey now, any service to actually implements that “solution” doesn’t deserve people using the service anyway, so it’s a great canary. ?

Humans:
Intelligent enough to create complex problems, too dumb to actually solve them…
@matigo Clothing might be mandatory in some situations, as I understand it. The person inside them, on the other hand…

@larand Some of us are fortunate to learn it early, while others appear to fight the very notion with every fiber in their body.
@larand Now that’s what I’m talking about! The appearance of a person is so irrelevant, like the cover of a book. Unfortunately lots of people have missed that memo.
I also don’t understand people who intentionally lower their cars so much that they scrape nearly every surface said car is close to.
@gtwilson Yup, that sounds about right. All the more reason for me to build my online information and news filtering system, so I can ditch every single “social media” account.
I mean, what’s wrong with people these days? Should I get offended by someone who doesn’t look “Swedish” wearing a traditional Swedish outfit? What even is a person who looks Swedish? How do we define the concept of culture? When do we pass the line for appreciation into the realm of appropriation, and is said appropriation even necessarily a bad thing?
Perhaps I’m just getting worked up over nothing and should have some more beer instead…
And since I’m behind on everything, I’m only now catching up on the whole Chinese dress story from a few days ago.
So basically, as I understand it, some assclown on twitter got offended by some girl wearing a qipao to her prom. This whole “social justice warrior” nonsense can just go die in a fire at this point.
