@matigo Agreed! By now it really should be higher resolution, and all operating systems should dynamically scale to make the UI proper size and text actually readable.
Tonight on Star Trek Voyager:
On their long voyage home, the crew of Voyager faces a potential wormhole to the alpha quadrant. During the encounter they lose yet another shuttle. Finally they can be saved by a containment field. In the end the Prime Directive once again proves to be right.
@matigo From what I can tell, the later G4 machines have support for LBA, so it should, at least in theory, be fine. I’m planning to partition the drive for several operating systems, so hopefully that should cure more of the weirdness as well.
@matigo Pretty much. But I hope to saturate the bus quite nicely. Should be the best upgrade possible for a PowerBook G4, besides maxed out RAM.
Quite amazing that there are M.2 to 44-pin IDE adapters available. Makes upgrading older devices all that much easier, so I'm not complaining.
