I have a sneaky suspicion that certain people will leap to the conclusion that MariaDB/MySQL would be superior just because it’s open source. ?
Call me pragmatic, but good software can come from anywhere, closed source or not.
@matigo Some devices might as well be unicorns as far as I’m concerned. I’m looking into a Nexus 4 or Nexus 5 right now. Hopefully that’ll be an acceptable experience, if yet not an optimal one.
Should try to get a Ubuntu Touch compatible device and give it a spin, just because.
