I completely agree! There are some things I have always wanted to do, and now I have a change to actually get around to doing at least a few of them and see if the wings hold air.

Yeah, well that's what they get for taking the long roundabout way of letting me know I'm losing my job instead of telling me up front about it like any respectable organization would.

We'll see what happens in the near future and maybe I'll be contributing too (in exchange for an iPhone 5s) :D

Trust and respect is difficult to build up. My current and soon-to-be previous employer has just lost a big chunk of mine.

Thank you muchly! :)

I'm not putting all the proverbial eggs in one basket anymore though. Time for me to grow some business sense and start doing things outside of the "day job" sphere that might actually generate an income. ?

I'll just fill my head with some nice music from the 1980s now.

Got to love that, right? Modern computing can really impress sometimes.

On the other hand, now the damn thing has gotten into its mind that it's not a genuine Windows 7, which it most certainly is.

It's close to ridiculous how fast Windows 7 starts up in VirtualBox.

Agreed. I want the notification and be able to act on it, ignoring, dismissing, or accepting. :)
