@matigo I hate these huge ass blobs called "libraries" with a passion. They are big, more often than not impossible to cut out just what you need, and depend on other libraries. It's an evil that needs to die in a fire.
Unless they are small and well written, which most aren't.
@matigo Can totally see your frustration. Making stuff work in all browsers without looking like regurgitated nonsense is also a right down pain.
@matigo Yeah, that's the next thing I would be butting my head against. I'd love to bring everything in-house, but the world fights me in this case. :/
Self hosted turnkey e-mail solutions that don't look like crap, aren't full of bloat, or don't depend on shit I don't want to touch with a 3 meter pole is harder to come by than a hen's teeth.

Open Source web mail looks like ass, more often than not. Not a good kind of ass either, mind you.
There really isn't a single good solution to do just what I want and need from any "personal cloud" service I can self host.
