@skematica You and me both! I loved going to work on that thing, being able to enjoy a decent speed while having all the time in the world to enjoy the scenery on the way. Not to mention, great for personal cooling on those warmer summer days.

Well that's a first. Clicked on a link and it took me to Youtube, and then the whole computer froze up on me. O_o

Guess Apple has updated OS X with some taste filter or something…

@skematica I could probably get my old moped working and use that instead. Nice, slow pace and I could enjoy the scenery more too. :)

@skematica Well for me the Air is plenty fast, and it "only" has a Core i5 at 1,6GHz. But I don't do too many heavy things on it (yet), besides transcoding video to something tolerable in h.264, which it does at pleasantly fast velocity. DVD rez stuff gets transcoded at about 3 to 4 times the real-time speed of the video, which is orders of magnitude faster than my old MacBook which had a Core2Duo at 2GHz. :)

Core i7 must really scream if this is how good the Core i5 is!

@skematica I'd probably observe people a fair bit too. And maybe sniff the WiFi. Hm. I perhaps best not go to any café with WiFi after all.

@skematica I've contemplated taking the license, but it's been prohibitively expensive so far. Maybe if I get a better job, I'll go ahead at take it, and get a motorcycle. Just something simple and functional, nothing fancy. :D

I could go into the bedroom, but there's no lock on the door. Fortunately I have the evenings and all the time he spends at daycare to do nearly what I want with, so there's always that.

@skematica Glad to see the easter bunny upgrading to a faster mode of transport!

You just made me crave cheese.

Cool! I'll have to try that. ???
