@variablepulserate A fair point regarding android and Nokia there. From what I can tell their own alternative KaiOS isn’t all that great either, but has been hacked for improved features. Not an end-user thing at all, and I would love to see more and better “dumbphone” alternatives.
PBX in this regards is the old Personal Branch eXtension, like that fancy telephony system any company has. Basically, I want to be a silly person and have a few phones at home that all tie into a single prepaid card and can make calls out, but also to give people a very confusing company style answering “press 2 to talk to person X” thing.
