Yep, that is one of the articles on the topic that I remember. Same basic story as all the ones I’ve read; HR/t he company says one thing, and the employee/the person has to do.

Fine.

But to this degree I suspect is just counterproductive and won’t end up resulting in quality. No matter how comprehensive the company training, they’re effectively saying that whatever university education people have, it’s irrelevant and they’re just tabula rasa in their corporate matrix.

It’s so very much in line with the cyberpunk world I know from fiction that it’s downright scary.

My NASA is a bit closer to home; Ericsson! Not really up to NASA awesomeness per se, but they do some neat things. And I just love the Erlang thinking. 🙂
