The NES/Famicom port of Galaga is pretty good. Does follow the arcade original really well, specially when you consider the time it was made and the hardware available.
The Game Boy port, while admirable in many ways,‘doesn’t quite live up to the loveliness that is Galaga. But it does try really hard, and it’s still pretty enjoyable. For perhaps different reasons than the NES/Famicom port. Love ‘em both though. 🙂
