I’m really interested in the generation 1 Mac Pro, which can be upgraded to a pretty respectable work machine even today. I mean, 8 or 12 cores and 32GiB or RAM is pretty nice in my book.

The older PowerPC stuff is really appealing too, particularly the last generation PowerBook G4 in both the petite 12” variant and the battleship 17” variant. I just love the keyboards. Same as on my MacBook Pro, Incidentally.

Pushing machines will less computational power is definitely something I’m interested in as well. The Raspberry Pi machines have been a huge boon and rekindled my interest for getting deeper down into the nitty-gritty stuff. Planning to get a small fleet of them deployed to do various things for me and some experimentation too.

Still working on my Raspberry Pi laptop project and on the planning of a wearable Raspberry Pi of some sort. Definitely interesting challenges in both.
