At least I don't have to worry as much about setting the clocks anymore, with most devices fixing that on their own.
Personally I think this whole summer/winter time nonsense can eat excrement and die in a fire.

I totally agree with you. It's a major pain to get anything exported from Tumblr, and my workaround was so headache inducing that it led me to some semi-suspect web service that produced a "standard" Wordpress backup blob.
Which was fortunate, as @matigo was able to successfully import it into 10C. At least that I know of.
