Think I'll just sit here and suck up some coffee while watching the old Atari 2600 game "Bezerk".

Oh wow! Around these parts it's been 19°C at most, and quite rainy.

@kdfrawg I think I can put dual Raspberry Pis' in it too. Not sure until I get the power boards and the display control board in there, but it looks promising.

Have a bunch of things I need to work out now. Several features I want, but not sure how to solve just yet.

@kdfrawg As far as I could understand from the auction description, that's exactly it. Kind of wish I got the defect motherboard too, but the case is enough.

Definitely a cheap feeling case, but far better than I can produce (currently) on my own. Also kind of cool that it looks like a "real" laptop. Shouldn't raise eyebrows when I take it out and about, specially at airports. ?

@kdfrawg Me neither. Was lucky to see the online auction and that nobody else was bidding.

@kdfrawg You got it! Was the easiest way to get a complete case with keyboard and everything.

It is pretty much always followed by another one shortly after, but that's besides the point. ?☕

I often have that experience with coffee.

"Just one sip of this freshly brewed coffee and then onto the task at hand"

… One empty mug later and I realize I should do the task in question. ?

That they are!

Nah, its dead long before I got it, so all the nasty demons should already have left the machine. Now I "just" need to populate it with some other hardware. Thinking mainly about a Raspberry Pi 2, possibly a Pi 3.

Some custom electronics and it'll be a completely unique machine.
