Losing my train of thought all the time.
@tomas In my mind, it was indeed a complete fail. But I come from a background of both manufacturing and repair in electronics, so whenever I see a nasty, cobbled mess of wires running haphazardly all over the place, I cringe a lot.
@tomas Some people get their kicks from "repurposing" the original Game Boy into a modern retro gaming machine in a portable form factor. I don't generally mind the procedure, except when a perfectly useable device gets gutted in the process. Specially one that's in cosmetically good condition.
Guess I should stop reading blogs and checking tech videos at work when the computers are busy doing their stuff and o can't do much else besides wait. ?
@osaka I cannot recommend getting married in August for the temperature and humidity alone. Was a nice ceremony otherwise though. ?
Shoddy butchering of a perfectly working Game Boy in good condition in order to make a mess of wires inside, together with a Raspberry Pi Zero and a sleuth of ROMs from various systems.
Great, now I'm pissed off for a number of reasons.
@osaka I know of few uncomfortable things like wearing a tuxedo in August while in Japan. So hot, so sweaty!
Such a breath of fresh air to start up my junk-parts computer with Ubuntu at work.
