@gtwilson Sounds bizarre. Should we start a mob and round these sorcerers up?
@gtwilson I'll just sit and stare blankly into space for a while, as a result of that quoted text.
@gtwilson Ah, the battery I also recognize. Oddly enough, the keycaps on my old MacBook managed to survive my frequent bashing away at them. Not sure what magic Apple used on those polycarbonate machines.
@paulyhedral I nearly did that right now. Started a tmux session, split horizontally, ssh'd into another machine in the right pane and was right about to start up tmux there too.
@kdfrawg I like some aspects of the job, but the whole uncertainty thing doesn't jive with me. As a parent or two and married, I tend to prefer something that's a bit more predictable.
Ok, now I finally got tmux installed on all my Raspberry Pis that live on the network. Next up is to learn how to use it best.
Hey, @matigo, what was that program you recommended instead of top? I'm toying around with my Pi2 and I thought I should learn something that's not ancient while I'm at it.
@kdfrawg I am, actually. But that's because they're cheapskates and probably won't extend my current contract any longer. Not that I'm crying about that per se, as I can at least find something more stimulating to do.
@gtwilson Either that or source a replacement fan. ;)
Was a while ago since I made a fix like that. Was my old MacBook in its 6th year too, if memory serves. Seems to be a standard time for fans to survive.
