ActiveX, now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.

That feeling when a t-shirt can't be shipped to other countries than those listed, and the listed ones are USA and Canada. O.o

@kdfrawg Horrifying idea, that. Not sure I want to have a car that's always connected to every single bad person with a bad attitude currently alive.

@kdfrawg That was a big attraction for me as well. Had only played around with Linux until that point, and a "real" *NIX system under the hood was just plain cool to me. Seeing the iBook G4 hardware really pushed me over the edge and I had to have one.

Hard to say where Apple will take the Mac in the future, but at least they see it as a different beast from the smartphone and tablet devices, which I argue is a good thing.

@kdfrawg Smart choices. Unfortunately I'm involved in the emergency vehicle game at work, so I need to suffer all the bad things one can imagine in technology.

@kdfrawg Just like all those download meters, that still rock it like we're all on 28.8kbps modems.

@kdfrawg Wise move. I try to keep myself as platform agnostic as its possible these days. Would love to do my own thing, but time and money aren't in my favor.

@kdfrawg Which is quite frightening when you consider all the important places the damn thing has found its way into. Places like nuclear power plants and hospitals, among others. Why anyone thought that was a good idea, I'll never understand.

@kdfrawg So, naturally, it just stood there, stating that, for quite a bit more than just those few minutes.

@kdfrawg Same for me, only it was 2005 instead.
