@kdfrawg I'd plug it into my SEGA Dreamcast, just because it's possible, but I don't think it'd be too great an experience.

@matigo I had a spectacularly crap VGA cable that came free with a converter box. I'm not joking when I say it couldn't go higher than 1024x768 on my otherwise fully HD capable monitor. I giggled a bit when I tested a proper cable.

@kdfrawg Probably a cost thing, but I'm just puzzled as VGA won't ever go beyond 1920x1080/1920x1200, as far as I'm aware.

@matigo WXGA on anything but a 11" display shouldn't be allowed in 2017.

@matigo I'm all in favor of legacy and compatibility, but sometimes the horse is so dead it's not even a horse anymore. It's like people are obsessed with connecting their PC from 1987 to the latest monitor they can find.
