@kdfrawg I hope so! I love the pre-unibody keyboard, but the whole unibody design is just so spot-on.

@kdfrawg It’s the late 2007 (?) from what I can remember when I decoded the serial number. Core 2 Duo At 2.4GHz and RAM upgradeable to 6GiB. Not a powerhouse any longer, but for the stuff I intend it to be doing it should be more than adequate.
@phoneboy My (simple) dream is to one day get the last generation unibody, and upgrade it to the max. Again, because I can.
@kdfrawg Aye, it’s no wonder the /selfhosted subreddit has been increasing in activity over the last year or so.
So apparently I just purchased a MacBook Pro 17” of pre-unibody vintage. Because I could.
This’ll be a experiment machine for sure!
As times goes on, lots of services and their attached interfaces (apps, websites) tend to get bloated with unnecessary features, which results in my annoyance.
@matigo Ok, just watched half of the first episode of Rick and Morty during breakfast, I’m now totally sold on the whole thing. ?
@kdfrawg My thoughts exactly. Better to have video evidence of the nuts on the road causing me trouble than relying to retelling only.
@kdfrawg At least when it’s unexpected and completely unnecessary.
I’m now looking at decently priced dashcams, just in case the trend continues.
