@jextxadore HP has made some nice improvements over the last couple of years, so that’s a pretty solid choice.
@jextxadore For some things they just aren’t the right hardware, right with you there. I just mine to use as little helpers. Thinking about getting a used Mac mini to be a file server on my network, or perhaps I’ll build something a bit more dedicated with *BSD and ZFS.

@matigo My thoughts exactly. Why is it so hard for manufacturers to at least build an option to switch such stuff off?
