@JeremyCherfas I believe so, but I haven’t confirmed for a while.
@JeremyCherfas Thank you! Fortunately it seems like Electrolux still manufactures the right size shelf for out model of fridge. Not super-cheap, but I want the space, so I’ll have to pony up.
@hybotics No, it much simpler. It’s just a fancy name I’ve given for my home network core, with the incoming connection and router. I’ve gathered everything in the same location for aesthetics and family acceptance factor. I’ll show off more once I have it. ?
@hybotics I have heatsinks yes, but not mounted yet. Will investigate the heat dispersal in real life with the loads I expect it to have and see just how hot it gets.
@matigo Been toying with the idea. Never had the chance to play with cluster computing, so now might be the right time.
Great. Glass shelf in fridge broke. Guess who has to both clean up the mess and order a new one?
There we go, now I have a Raspberry Pi 3 as well. Getting quite the miniature data center!
@matigo Much worse. It’s been slowly assembling after we repainted the walls last year. But at least it’s out of the crude prototype stage I started shortly after moving in, back in 2014. ?
Ordered an assortment of Ethernet cables, so soon I can install the Raspberry Pis and finish up the job on my Internet Distribution Node I started last year.
