Totally with you on the language level there. Although after a while of seeing/hearing the same kids songs, it starts to get to you… or at least it does to me.
@matigo I fear I’ll see it more the better my Japanese gets. Hopefully I’ll still feel balanced and at peace when in Japan, even though I understand more of what I hear and see.

I have spent more than a year on Japan total time now, but fortunately I have been spared any obvious racism or discrimination. Maybe I’m just lucky.

@hybotics Yeah, me too. At my current job, my team is pretty much always the ones to blame, even when we weren’t involved. ?
@hybotics 2011 machine. Capable still today. If I recall, some units had issues with the GPU, but those ought to be out of the system or already fixed under extended warranty.
@hybotics For sure! It’s the answers to some of the simple questions that can really throw you for a loop. Questions like “why?” at any large company.
