@hazardwarning I have been contemplating something similar, but all the ones I can find are really focused on taking phone calls in the car, and I pretty much never do that. Thus, I set off on my own way, because I'm weird.

@larand Sounds like the definition of "a bad week", or at least the beginnings of one.
@hazardwarning Bluetooth audio can be weird sometimes. I'm aiming for the open source implementation of Airplay, called Shairport if I recall correctly. All I want is relatively low power wireless audio without fuss. Oddly enough building my own stuff appears to be the best way to get that.

@matigo @hazardwarning Actually it's so I can just wirelessly connect my iPhone SE for music playback. Getting pretty old pretty fast with the near constant cable fiddling.
Might use it for some secondary purposes in the car as well, but no solid plans just yet.
@phoneboy I can relate. When I got my Palm/HP Pre 3, it blew my mind a bit. Just plopped the device onto the charger/stand and it started juicing up the battery.
Still want an HP touchpad with the wireless docking station, but they’ve become prohibitively expensive, sadly.
How many countries are taking part on the baseball World Series?

@hazardwarning I should get on with my little projects I have started. Most of the time I end up playing video games instead. ?
Really need to get my Raspberry Pi for the car finished. Getting tired of plugging a cable into my phone, like some kind of caveman.
