@variablepulserate I know, right? Darn near perfect price, good space and adequate living quarters.
Hoping some of the houses on the market aren’t shitholes in reality. Need to scope them out in the flesh before I can say.

@matigo Shooting his mouth off again. This time it’s about how Japan has been one ethnic culture, one language, one dynasty for 2000 years, and how that’s unique in the world.
It’s also factually incorrect and anyone who entries to peddle that load of horse shit is a lying nincompoop, but that’s pretty much the bio for Mr. Aso…
Another day and yet more evidence that Taro Aso should be kicked out of office and banned from politics.
@matigo More like a shift of attitude among the neckbeards who are a bit too open source and their heads up their collective asses.
They make a great show of how to scare people away when they sound like an arrogant asshole combined with a tinfoil hat wearing lunatic.
@matigo That’s the plan! 🤣
Also, I finally get to start building that pint-sized V8 I’ve been dreaming about for years.
@variablepulserate Kind of. Few houses we can consider in the area we want to live, and some are outrageously priced lately. I mean, barely larger than our apartment, but a little over 1 million SEK, when half that price is practically standard. Not to mention that most houses have a decent size garden, which the overpriced places do not have. 😐
A small workshop would be so nice. Maybe a bench CNC mill and the usual assortment of hand tools and power tools. Because I have standards about my personal projects.
@variablepulserate I'm starting to be concerned that's exactly it! I mean, I love the whole open source phenomenon, but sheesh, there are a lot of people out there who really undermine everything open source stands for.
If I had more time to work on projects, I could actually add something useful to the mix. Alas, until I get a house where I can have a small workshop, I'm stuck looking at underwhelming write-ups of lacklustre concoctions with more hot-glue than thought behind them.
