@height8 Orwell and Gibson were both right, and now we're living in it.

@height8 That's depressing. :(

@height8 Just us guys interested in older hardware? :)

Will shoot you the e-mail, good sir!

Too bad there wasn't any old video game consoles at the flea market. I itch for something to repair and fix up of older vintage.

Seems like the in-laws computer has randomly decided to stop using WiFi, which is the only way they get Internet connection to the device. Wife is troubleshooting and helping as best possible, my help has not been requested so I shall remain doing something else.

@height8 A de-con area, essentially? I think that is a sound idea.

@height8 You just jogged my memory and I remember one digital TV box I repaired back when I was a repair technician. Normally they had all failed due to faulty capacitors, but this particular one was quite full of dead flies. I showed it to a colleague and we were sorely tempted to write cause of malfunction as "engineer died at his post". :D

@height8 It was the most undecided winter I can remember here. It's like winter couldn't decide if it was supposed to be below 0°C and snowing, or if it should be warm as spring and sunny.

@height8 Pretty much. I saw one toaster, a fan, some random kitchen appliances, two monitors of dubious quality, and not too much more by the time I got there. That was 38 minutes after opening. O_o

Was nothing good left by the time I got to the flea market. But we did find some nice bowls, so that's always something.
