Definitely need to write this whole nonsense up and post online so other people don't have to go through the same trial-and-error-followed-by-reading-shedloads-of-documentation.

Got Wallabag installed, finally. Looks like there's a plugin for TinyTinyRSS to talk to Wallabag too, which will make life easier as soon as I get both of them installed and operational.

Well… sort of. Now I have some more dependencies that need sorting.

Still, I got the damn thing working in the end, after reading though more instructions on multiple web sites, of course. Why do the people who write the documentation assume that everything is exactly like they happen to have it, without even specifying this?

Fighting with not-entirely-great documentation again this evening.

Having a decent stream of ideas lately. Good thing I've been writing them down.

Another interesting advantage. I might go completely nuts and get some IDE to SD adapter and shove a reasonably big SD card in there. A potential future upgrade for an old media player I have.

Good stuff! I might do something similar in the future, so it's good to get info from someone who has actually done the procedure in real life. ??

Oh yes, how is the Pismo doing after the install?

Oh I love this shit. "If things aren't smooth as butter, try switching to my preferred web browser instead of that tripe you are currently using". Crap like this is why the web sucks more often than not today.
